Earnings
Before you sell a put, know when the numbers drop.
Browse the earnings calendar by date and step across trading days to see how many symbols report each day. Cards show quarter, pre/post market, EPS and revenue estimates, earnings-day IV, IV Rank, and market cap — with search and favorites. Open a symbol for the next report and financials so you can avoid earnings gaps before selling puts.
Why sellers watch earnings separately
Premium often fattens into earnings; gaps often hit after. Chasing yield without the report date is trading overnight jump risk for a thin edge.
What's on each card
| Field | What it's for |
|---|---|
| Quarter / Pre-post | Which period and when it prints |
| EPS / Revenue estimates | What the market is pricing |
| Earnings-day IV / IV Rank | Whether premium is rich — and unusually so |
| Market cap | Separate large names from small ones |
How to use it
- Step dates left/right to see how many names report that day
- Search or favorite the symbols you follow
- Open a symbol for next earnings and financials
- If expiration sits around earnings, flag it before you choose strike and size
Important reminders
Calendar dates may be confirmed or estimated. Don't treat estimates as fixed. Post-earnings gaps can't be priced precisely from historical volatility alone.
